Phantoms Volleyball Club

Warrnambool 2001 - Div 1 Women.

In 2001 Geelong Phantoms entered the Seaside
tournament in Women's Div 1 as "The Wilsons". The
team didn't place in the top three. Cheryl won the Women's
Div 1 Best and Fairest award with 16 votes.

Horsham 2001 - Div 1 Women.

We struggled to get a team this year so we combined
with some junior Horsham girls to play Division 2 - our
team was L.Renkauskas, L. Krahe, C.Moore, S.Yeomans,
S.Barlow*, K.Bibby*, M.Battersby* (*Horsham girls)
Results as follows:
2-1 V Monash : 15-25, 25-20, 20-13
3-0 V Ballarat : 25-16, 25-16, 25-18
3-0 V Horsham : 25-14, 25-21, 25-18
1-2 V Monash : 22-25, 21-25, 20-14
3-0 V Ballarat : 25-20, 25-10, 25-12
2-1 V Horsham : 25-21, 21-25, 24-21
We made the Final and played Monash who was the only
team we had lost to during the rounds, they came away
the victors 1-3: 26-24, 18-25, 14-25, 24-26.
